God, I just found the E.E. Cummings anthology I picked up when I was visiting U Chicago, and...gaaaah. He's just so unspeakably brilliant. I can't handle it. I want to go get a sharpie and write his poems on people's faces. It's that kind of love.

-Due soon, lest purple_chalk stop loving me: Application for Professor McG at hogwart_teacher (a PoA era RPG featuring the teachers of Hogwarts. No, just the teachers. No students. Really.) The mods are looking for committed, talented player, by the way; go apply, if you're interested. Game starts September 1st and runs until June 1st.

-Due soon, lest shortcircuited travel the thousands of miles between our houses and actually kill me in impatience: promised longer smut-tastic Ron/Blaise.

-Find an archive. Set up said archive. Back up all fic files to disk and clean hard drive of incriminating Potterporn.

-Finish Angela's Ashes and The Fifth Business. Looove that the things I must get done for CLASS are at the bottom of the list. o.O

Oh, and a rec: anyone who hasn't yet, please go read Maya's If You've A Ready Mind. Maya is the genius behind Underwater Light, and this hilarious story--AU, in which Draco is sorted into Ravenclaw--literally had me stuck at my computer. I cancelled plans with friends in order to finish it. It's amazing.

And, to finish, two thoughts. Fist of all: Livejournal doesn't think "cancelled" is a word. Secondly: the unplugged pencil sharpener is making noises at me. It might be possessed. Should I be worried?
